I'm having the same trouble, with flash and non-flash uploads. Does anyone in charge at archive.org read these posts?

I emailed the main email address to this place, and no response as of yet.

I'll keep you posted.

info@archive.org is a catchall box that just eventually gets forwarded to the right people. If you want a quicker answer, email etree@archive.org - but that goes right to the LMA staff (including me). ;)

I have the same problem. I have tried to load the same video file with Ubuntu Lucid Lynx, 10.04.

As the file is big I have only tried the upload twice but it has failed in the same way both times showing "Error: Cannot decode JSON object"

Have the other uploaders who have bumped into this problem have UTF-8 character set in use? I am asking this because I found this: http://search.cpan.org/~makamaka/JSON-2.21/lib/JSON.pm

Quote: "In this case, $unicode_json_text is of course UNICODE string. So you cannot use decode_json nor JSON module object with utf8 enable. Instead of them, you use JSON module object with utf8 disable or from_json."

Could this be the cause of the problem?

Please ask me for additional help & info in debugging.

same problem here, some files are passing, others not. For me it is not related with utf08

Hallelujah! We seem to be back in business. I just tried and it's working again.

Let me know if you're still having problems and I may be able to help you out.
